WO: Weekly Obsessions

This week has been absolutely cray, and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. The only sign of normalcy? I’m totally enthralled with the following four things:

  1. “Good Job, Good Effort” Kid: I’m pretty much over how long the NBA playoffs are taking, but there’s one shining beacon in the Heat-Celtics series — this positive, enthusiastic boy who’s now a mega-celeb.
  2. Meghan Vogel, HS Track Star: Speaking of good sportsmanship, this story of Ohio teen Vogel carrying her opponent across the finish line melts my heart. There truly are good people in this world … who knew?
  3. Color Blocking: Just in time for summer showers, the color blocking trend has hit my closet full force. Coral + a cream, gray and yellow skirt = gorgeous, of course.
  4. Hey Christian Girl: This latest Internet meme is hot on the heels of F*** Yeah! Ryan Gosling, and it’s not apologizing for it. You don’t have to be a Bible-thumper to appreciate its silliness.

Also, Obama sings “Call Me Maybe,” because he heard how much I love it (natch). What a week!
