Emerald Isle Style
My Irish eyes are smiling as St. Patrick’s Day quickly approaches. Inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year, these stylish solutions are making me green with envy. Enjoy!

Pinning a Place
While it was so much easier to move with only three suitcases in tow, I’ve quickly learned just how much I need to buy. Not stuff, necessarily — but certainly some necessities and touches to make our new apartment feel more like home than hotel.
For example, we’re currently sharing an air mattress. In the living room. Without curtains.
Adventurous, sure. But practical, hell no.
Thank goodness for Pinterest, allowing my Happy Home board to blow up as I dream of decorating and furnishing. I’ve never been so excited to spend monies.
A Perfect Palette: I love shades of gray + blush with pops of yellow.
Some pinspirations …
Off the Wall: From gilded temporary wallpaper to creative clings, I’ve
got it covered.
Clever + Cozy Accents: Hey girl, I know you love Kanye’s tweets and are in need of storage solutions.
And Just Because: Who doesn’t want a couch that converts into
bunk beds?!

Fab Finds
First things first: Wittyburg is finally social! Check out the blog’s page on Facebook to follow ramblings and more.
Next up: I’ve turned to retail therapy once again, this time to stave off my post-travel depression. Fab.com is a design dream, with everything from art and furniture to clothes and pet products.
You have to be a member to view listings, so comment with your email address if you’d like an invite.
My favorite shops this week — some with sales ending very soon — are listed below.
1. Tiny Confessions | Art that Barks and Bites: Ever wonder what creatures around you are thinking? Christopher Rozzi knows, and he’s sharing them here.
2. I Screen You Screen | Hearty Hand-Pulled Screen Prints: Fun and fresh prints can liven up any living room or office space.
3. Von Vonni | Transformational Fashion: Maximize your wardrobe with dresses that change into a variety of styles with a few simple steps.
4. Areaware | Hip Homewares: I saw this hook on cupcakes + cashmere ages ago, and it still makes me giggle with glee.
5. Creature Cups | Hidden Creatures in Your Cup: A sea otter in your cup of coffee is the best way to wake up, I think.
6. Father’s Day Pop-Up Shop | Various: Treat your dad to one of these pop-up shop items, and he’s sure to love them.
All that Glitters
Even though I’m a beer- and sports-obsessed chick, I still have my moments of girlishness where I freak over sparkly things. Yes, glitter is the herpes of craft supplies. But, it makes everything so pretty. Imagine my delight when I found these:
Wish I had $94 lying around for this guy.
These mini cuppycakes look almost too good to eat. Almost.
If you know me, you know I can’t resist a one-shoulder piece.
Add shimmer to your eyes for instant drama.
I just saw “Mamma Mia!” live, and I am in love with this Dancing Queen Bolero.
In the words of the great lyricist Lil’ Weezy, “Get your shine on.” Just refrain from overdoing it … only GaGa can pull off head-to-toe glitter.
And for the love of God, do not come in contact with this “Glitter.” Yikes, bikes.
Witty in Fitty: The Debut
I don’t always have a lot to say — shocking, I know — so this calls for what I’m now dubbing “Witty in Fitty.” 50 words (or less), and I’m already at 31. Crap.
Drooling over these; recipe here

Must-have from Urban = love

WO: Weekly Obsessions
Brought to you in no specific order, here’s what I’ve been Googling and ogling over and over this week.
“Horrible Bosses”: I adore Charlie Day from “Always Sunny,” and Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman have gained popularity on my DVR the past few years. A ridiculous scheme with lovable guys and deplorable bosses is not to be missed. Charlie’s coked-out scenes were most memorable and absolutely ridiculous.
Decor from Urban Outfitters: From the coasters (have) to the tape dispenser (want) and hamburger phone (need), Urban never fails to impress. Every visit, I find at least five things I never knew I couldn’t live without. Hipster or not, how can you say no to a HAMBURGER. PHONE.
BustedTees: I’ve been a big fan for years now, but there’s just something about these shirts that keeps me coming back for more. A grab-bag offer is going on now — give ‘em your size (and 30 bucks), and they’ll send four shirts picked at random for your enjoyment. So many pop-culture references; so little time!
The All-Star Break: From Cano’s beautiful triumph in the Derby to Heath Bell’s unique entrance, I’m all about this week in baseball. And in case you haven’t heard — even though he didn’t play last night — Jeter had his 3,000th hit Saturday. Suck on that, haters!
WO: Weekly Obsessions
Sometimes (a lot of times), my brain is all over the place and — have you guys seen “Bad Teacher” yet? Right, where was I? Ahh, yes … here’s what I currently can’t get enough of, in no particular order, because my life is in constant dis-order.
Pugs: When I was little, our neighbors had a pug named Porter. I was dying to love him and squeeze him and take him home with me. Here we are 20ish years later, and I planned to steal a pug I met this weekend. Hector, you’re mine. I officially need a dog.
This Cake: A fab co-worker and her husband are todes mcgodes the culinary dream team of the year. Their patriotic cake was not only delicious, but it looked freaking fantastic. Compliments to the chefs — and thanks for sharing with the birthday girl!
Zen Motivation: When life gets too cray cray, I have to remind myself to take a step back and breathe. This poster is perfect for doing just that, and the vintage feel (+ price tag, hello!) = perfection. Check out KeepCalmPosters’s shop on etsy to see the various styles.
Old-School Blink 182: One of my favorite bands ever, Blink keeps coming up on my iPod — and I’m not complaining. The lyrics were great, the videos were hysterical, and I think we can all agree that a reunion tour is in order.
Side note: If anyone wants to buy me a pug as a belated birthday gift, I will name him after you. His middle name, granted, but it’s the best I can do when you are so late with a gift.
Down the Rabbit Hole
We’re all familiar with the story of Alice and her time in Wonderland. You may have seen the Disney version as a child, or you may have been captivated by Tim Burton’s take. One thing’s for sure, either way: The girl’s got style.
From whimsical designs to high-energy lyrics, it seems like Alice and crew are popping up everywhere. Just today, I received an invite for a bridal shower that was Alice-inspired.
The Queen of Hearts is one of my favorite characters, and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs “Heads Will Roll” will make you want your own army. I added it to my gym playlist to keep me going — I just can’t stop moving when I hear a beat like this.
Betsey Johnson is known for her eclectic design aesthetic, and her watch collection is no exception. I received the silver version for Christmas, and I purchased this black one a few months later. Obsessed much? The numbers are too fanciful to pass up. Try eBay to snag your own at a great price.
Weddings don’t have to be stuffy affairs when you’ve got a bride with Alice fever. Though from different events, this cake and entryway are perfect for celebrating the child in us all.
Finally, this creation is just too amazeballs to not purchase. anthropologie rarely disappoints, and this one-lump-or-two lamp is a perfect conversation piece. I happen to know someone’s birthday is coming up … wonder who will be gifting this to her?
Whatever your take on Wonderland may be, can we at least all agree that Johnny Depp should only wear makeup as Captain Jack Sparrow?
VERSUS
I mean, is there really any comparison?
Bonus video: Since I mentioned him, I have to include The Lonely Island’s genius hit. Now back to the good part!
